 confrontare una reflex aps-c contro una full-frame risulta sempre complicato perchè il sensore full frame grazie alla sua grandezza  ha comunque un vantaggio ma possiamo comunque esaminare le differenze di questi due modelli che per altro possono tranquillamente competere se non si devono fare ingrandimenti particolari infatti fino a certi ingrandimenti nella stragrande maggioranza dei casi queste due reflex si equivalgono ma vediamo nei dettagli:

Queste fotocamere miniaturizzate ma con un sensore da reflex professionale incontrano sempre piu' appassionati soprattutto per gli amanti della foto stile street view o per i viaggi.
La RX-1R  grazie all'obbiettivo Carl Zeiss Sonnar T 35mm f/2 riesce a spingere la qualità delle immagine a un livello mai visto prima su questa classe di fotocamere e grzie alla mancanza del low-pass filter le immagini sono ancora piu' nitide.
